Requests for the bot flag should be made on this page. This wiki uses the standard bot policy, and allows global bots and automatic approval of certain types of bots. Other bots should apply below.
For bots not qualifying for steward discretion, the operator must:
- register a bot account with the word bot in the username (something like YourusernameBot);
- add a paragraph to this page describing the bot's purpose, what program(s) it uses (pywikipedia framework, etc);
- and perform a test run without a bot flag to demonstrate the bot.
- After 7 days from the request a bureaucrat will give you the flag if there will be at least 3 total votes with 3/4 support votes.
